Hollywood’s favorite hair care brand HASK wanted to boost the launch of a new product line across eCommerce and social. QuickFrame produced 6 unique and flexible live action concepts in just 4 weeks.
BRAND STORY
HASK is dedicated to clean beauty. Its hair products are formulated without any damaging additives (e.g., parabens, phthalates, sulfates, etc.) and are 100% Cruelty-Free. Sold internationally primarily through third-party retailers, HASK is used by stylists on film & TV sets more than any other hair care brand.
THE GOAL
Though HASK’s core sales channel is its network of large retailers, the brand has a robust owned media presence. To support the launch of its Curl Care collection, HASK needed talent-driven product videos delivered on a short timeline.
With the goals of building awareness, educating consumers, and driving sales, HASK planned to use the creatives across its eCommerce and social presence.
OUR APPROACH
QuickFrame matched HASK with an NYC-based maker specializing in creatives for the hair and beauty industry to create videos for 7 products. Because HASK Curl Care products appeal to a broad audience with various hair types, the maker sourced talent options for each type of curl. To relate further to the consumer, QuickFrame suggested an apartment setting for the videos—a departure from HASK’s existing creatives, which were more neutral. For a streamlined production approach, QuickFrame collaborated with HASK to create a templatized shot list across all products. Then, footage for the entire line was captured at a single shoot with 3 talent. On shoot day, QuickFrame organized several video check-ins with key stakeholders and ensured that the HASK style team remotely directed the on-set styling of talent hair. Post-production was swift. In just 4 weeks from project greenlight, QuickFrame delivered 6 unique and on-brand product video concepts to HASK, cut into 18 different deliverables for use on various platforms.

Our Marketing team was looking to create snackable, education-driven video content to support the launch of our new Curl Care Collection (all on a tight turnaround, of course!). The process of working with QuickFrame's team from concept to creation was really enjoyable. From helping source a diverse group of talent with different curl textures, to communicating several unique value props in addition to showing the application steps per each product, their team helped bring our asks and overall vision to life. We completed the project with 18 high-quality video advertising assets which we have now seen strong ROI with across our several social channels.
